Fares Eskandar: “I am ashamed that my dad’s audience has homosexuals”
Fares Eskandar is the son of homophobic and sexist Lebanese singer Mohamed Eskandar who was recently prevented from performing two of his hate songs in Montreal (Sept. 1) and Ottawa (Sept. 2).
Fares Eskandar actually is behind the horrendous lyrics for his father’s latest song “Dod El 3onf”. Read more here.
Fares Eskandar tells An-Nahar newspaper today: “I am ashamed that my dad’s audience has homosexuals” He also showed his surprise for how large this audience is and that amongst them are important personalities. You can read the Arabic version of the article below.
Like father like son, Fares Eskandar is only adding insult to injury and shamelessly announcing his discrimination. This is yet another reason why we should celebrate the success of our campaign that made Canada refuse such hideous songs to be performed on its land.
